  I think the food was pretty standard bar fare - lots of fried items or items loaded with bacon, so slightly weak in the variety of selection. But, the food that was ordered tasted good. The pickle fries are actually really tasty.
  
  The problem was the service. We intended on ordering drinks, but wanted a chance to look at the drinks menu. So, when the waitress came by, we said we were going to order drinks in just a minute. She left and never gave us the opportunity to order drinks again.
  
  My date is a pescatarian (vegetarian plus fish), and she ordered a avocado salmon wrap. The wrap came with bacon bits scattered throughout, but neither of us caught that. When we got our food, my date wholly admitted her mistake in a friendly way and asked the waitress if there was anything we could do. The waitress responded with two options - ordering a whole other meal at full price, or scraping the bacon off ourselves.
  
  We settled for her eating her side (a garden salad) and eating my sweet potato friends that came with my burger. As we were leaving, we asked for a box for the salmon wrap because I was going to eat it later. After paying the bill, I left the box on the table. I was about 5 feet out the door before I realized I forgot. I came back inside to see that our table was already cleared off by our waitress with the food having been thrown away. The time between leaving the table after the bill and getting back there to retrieve the forgotten food was less than a minute.
  
  I know that much of this was initiated by mistakes we made, but I wholly did not feel welcome or attended to at that restaurant. If the restaurant is so strapped for money that it can't help out a customer that makes a mistake, then it has no business charging top dollar for 2 star bar fare.
  
  I still tipped a full 20% because I believe that cooks and bartenders shouldn't be punished for a poor server. I've never written a bad review in my life, but I've never left a restaurant feeling like that before. If you go here, I hope you have a better experience than my date and I had.

  Have been twice. Once with husband for a drink and to eat: food good, nothing interesting or special but good. Second time was with a private party upstairs. Nice private room with personal bartender. Atmosphere is interesting. Next time will have to go back in summer as the options for outdoor seating look great.
